There are a few great spots to lay out near the water in Southie, but this is one of the best. Packed with a little bit of everyone. Get there early to scope out a great place for your towel or a beach chair. Bath houses are close by and there is a nice walking path that goes along the whole coastline

Best spot to go to beach in Southie - good crowd on weekend days in summer - go to the left of bathhouse/gym by end of M st. Lots of young people. Drinking should be discreet as it is not allowed.
