Fair State is one of Minnesota’s member-owned breweries. And we’ve got to imagine that includes quite a few proud owners since the beer here is fantastic. In fact, if we had to choose, our staff would probably name Fair State as our consistently favorite beer in the Twin Cities. Everything we’ve tried here from the Pils (German Pilsener) to the Mirror Universe (Hazy IPA) to the legendary Roselle (Hibiscus Sour) has blown us away. The taproom is understated, and the vibe here evokes thoughts of a trendy coffee shop more so than one of the best breweries in the state. But no matter; we’d drink this stuff in an alley if that was the only place to score it. Fair State is that legit.
