Nice day hike. If you can spend the entire day hiking, say 2-3 hrs to the top of the trail, you'll find an incredible meadow with covered in wildflowers during Spring.

A hiking trail 45 min drive from Morro Bay on highway 1. Your reward is the most stunning views from the top of the trail, in the winter time you will see the beautiful waterfalls !
