Tsarevets together with Trapezitsa hill and the place between them form the old Bulgarian capital Turnovo, 13 century. This is the most visited place in Tarnovo. An obligatory part of the tour of the city along with Trapezitsa, the churches of Saint 40 Martyrs and St. Peter and Paul.
