This metro station connects you to downtown Atlanta and the airport. However, the neighborhood is also bike and walk friendly!

The Decatur Transit station has two entrances, one on Church Street and one at the end of Swanton Way, off of Commerce Drive. Use the Swanton Way entrance for getting on a MARTA bus or train. For the train, follow the ramp underground. You can also get on the FREE Emory Cliff bus, which takes you to Emory University, with stops in between. Use the Church street entrance only for getting on the MARTA train, if you prefer a more scenic walk through the Decatur square, which only adds a few minutes to your travel time.

An option for those who are not driving, don't wish to use Lyft, or don't wish to be in driver's rush hour traffic. This is one of the most colorful and interestingly designed stations where riders get out into the very pedestrian-oriented city of downtown Decatur--convenient to a main library, city hall, court and other government buildings, as well as critically acclaimed restaurants and storefront boutiques. Connects to several bus lines departing from the station.
