Orange has an amazing Roman amphitheatre and worth a visit. In the summer there are a series of classical/opera concerts. The market is on Thursdays and worth going to.

Orange is a beautiful small town; the market day is on Thursdays from 8 am until 1 pm for a lovely atmosphere with local produce, clothes and many other items. Every Thursday evening from 21 June 2022 there are live bands and DJ's playing music a great evening out. Orange has two remarkable Roman monuments, the Amphitheatre and the Triumphal Arch - believed to have been built in the time of Augustus and was dedicated later to Emperor Tiberius (cAD 25). The Amphitheatre hosts an incredible evening under the stars to Opera in the summer; to book tickets go to Chorégies d'Orange, some impressive symphonies and Operas lined up for 2022.
