Basecamp to explore the Hordnes forest, a scattered nature area that provides many different hiking opportunities. Lots of little paths that allow you to explore the forest areas on your own, with many smaller hikes along the way. Public transportation: From the bus station, take Bus 67 (Nordås-Søråshøgda) to the "Lagunen" stop, and then change to Bus 64 (Hordnes) and get off at "Melkeveien".

Hordnesskogen er Bergens nye mosjonseldorado. Her kan du gå på flotte turveier eller bruke ett stort nett av stier. Turveiene er godt tilgjenngelig både med barnevogn og rullestol. Her er løyper på 4,6 og 8 km. 4km løypen har lys fram til kl.23. Et naturlig mål er Skinfloren som ligger midt i Hordnesskogen.
