The Poetto is the beach of the City of Cagliari. It's very nice but overcrowded already by locals, so it is not usually recommended to tourists. However, it might be a good place for a walk at night. They are many bars and restaurants on the beach and a nice atmosphere.

Poetto is Cagliari's main beach and is popular with the locals during the week. There is a pedestrianised area, and every 500m you'll find a small bar or cafe. It's reachable from the centre by public transport.

Poetto Beach stretches for 6 km and is about 10 minutes by car from the center. The white sand and its crystal clear waters make it one of the most popular places to relax, and on the seafront you will also find many typical bars and restaurants to round off your day at the beach.

The Poetto is the urban beach wich extends for 10 Km. It offers beach resorts and many bar/kiosks for lunch/branch, but also aperitif and dinner; sport activity and night life.

Poetto (Poetu in Sardinian) is the main beach in Cagliari which stretches for about twelve kilometers, from the Sella del Diavolo to the beginning of the coast of Quartu Sant'Elena. Poetto is an important tourist resort and one of the main places of summer nightlife in the city and in the vast area.
