Dogs may enjoy the Agua Hedionda Lagoon along with their owners. However, to ensure the safety of others, all dogs must be leashed and controlled at all times, and are not allowed in the water. Owners also must pick up after their pets.

It includes three inter-connected lagoons, which are divided by the I-5 freeway and the railroad bridge."
