Beautiful wooded walk full of wildlife and a stunning waterfall at the end Pwll-y-Wrach (Witches Pond/Pool).
Pwll y wrach is 17.5 hectares of beautiful ancient woodland, which slopes down to the banks of the River Enig. Near the eastern end of the reserve the river plunges over a spectacular waterfall into a dark pool below, known as the “Witches Pool” from which the reserve gets it name.
A lovely walk to a waterfall. Pwll y Wrach translates to 'The Witch's Pool' so called due to the dark nature of the pool. If the weather is wet this is a muddy walk so appropriate footwear is advised.
