Local pub with great food. The restaurant at the back has beautiful views of the hills at the back. The Poltimore burger is a favourite of mine. It is best to phone ahead and book, as they are very popular.

Not a personal recommendation as I've never been but I have heard good things about this place so hope to try it sometime. Not to be confused with the Poltimore Arms

Nearest local pub and restaurant. Reasonable food, family and dog friendly with nice garden. You can walk here from the Byre and do a circular walk with the pub half way.
