We had a good time there once. The street is full of restaurants which all look good. At Bistrot de l'Oulette, you can have a very tasty Cassoulet (from South-West of France)

Nice traditionnal french restaurant near place des vosges, about 10 min from home, good menu not too expansive

French cuisine and menus good value for money. Staff not always welcoming though.
