When you go to the market in Lourmarin on Fridays, stop by early in the morning or call ahead for a lunch table outside. The pizza and salads are fantastic here. The place is quiet. And the service is friendly.

This is a casual Italian restaurant located in what was once a stable; the area on the wall that once held the feed for the animals is still there. In the winter months, the ambience is cosy and inviting, especially in the back room around the fireplace; in the summer months, the outdoor tables, lined along the sidewalk and scattered around the Fontaine la Cordière, are filled quickly. Pizzas are baked on wood fire oven, and are excellent. The rest of the menu is also good. Reservations suggested.
