GREAT coffee, great breakfast pastries (try the cheese and tomato danish, yum!) and healthy lunch options (soups, sandwiches) from Scratch Kitchen. We love this place. Dog friendly.

I'd say tied for second best coffee in San Antonio. They are coffee fanatics here and helped start the whole scene in San Antonio. Excellent. Fairly good working location too, but their internet can seriously lag.
