The Ultimate Picture Palace, or UPP for short, is a great little cinema where they show fantastic arthouse films, or some of the Hollywood films before they leave Oxford for a good price (£9!). And of course it's also at walking distance, which is very convenient.

Cinema - The Ultimate Picture Palace is Oxford’s oldest and only independent cinema. The cinema is privately owned and owner managed showing a mix of recent releases from around the world, classic seasons and a programme of exciting one-off events. The beautiful art-deco auditorium has 105 seats and the small bar at the back serves drinks and snacks for you to take to your seats before the start of the film.
