One of the best ways to see Utrecht is from the water. But don't get a watercycle (looks fun, but is very slow)! Get a canoe, it will get you around much quicker. If you are up for it, you can also do a day tour and go out of the city.

Explore Utrecht from the water on a sunny day. Many bridges you pass under have decorations underneath, and a good workout besides.

Exploring the canals in a kayak is a great way to see the old city centre from another angle. If you're keen, you can kayak all the way to my appartment.

This is really a must do in Utrecht! Travel through the cannals, drinking some self-brought wine or snacks. You can hire a Kano or a motorized boat.
