We love to hike around the lake and sit on the dock to feed the ducks. The playground is new and super great! Lots of shade and grass. Also has a super fun splash pad that runs every 30min throughout the day.

Good little walk around a lake. There's a butt kicker hill close by if you want a little bit of a workout.

There’s a nice hiking trail up the mountain , on a clear day you have an ocean view.

10 MIN - Go hiking or fishing around Discovery Lake, or cool off at the public Splashpad. This area is beautiful and we'd highly recommend a visit if you are looking for a nice walk or to simply decompress.

A lovely small lake in the nearby city of San Marcos with paved paths all around, playground and plenty of hiking trails
