You can pick up just about anything at this store including groceries and/or pyjamas (if you forget them). It takes about 20 minutes to get there from the cottage. It's near the roundabout off of Hwy 5. The store has pretty good hours too.

The closest we have to a Walmart-type store in Wakefield, and only a couple of minutes drive.

This is a cross between Costco, Winners, Wallmart and a dollar store. Very low prices for big brand groceries. Milk butter, cheddar cheese, cookies, Doritos, Coke, etc.... Right off the highway and there is a Tim Hortins and a dollar store next to it. Although I prefer the Wakefield General Store for its quality, this place has really cheap prices. Your call. They also have a whole lot of inexpensive DVDs and BluRay disks. You might catch a few titles you like. Video Kennedy is a DVD/BluRay rental place if that is what you are looking for.
