This is a square where there are the National Library , Municipal Theatre, and other buildings from colonial's time. Cinelandia is named after so many Cinemas used to be around this square. Nowadays there is only Odeon left. It is also a spot where they launch new Brazilian movies or host theatre's prizes

Onde está localizado o Theatro Municipal e outras obras arquitetônicas da Belle Époque. Há também estação para o novo trem, VLT, que leva até o Museu do Amanhã. Where is the Municipal Theatre and other architectural works of the Belle Époque. There is also a station for the new train, tramway, leading to the Museum of Tomorrow (Museu do Amanhã)

This street car rides slowly through downtown Rio and crosses many touristic areas such as Aveinda Rio Branco, Teatro Municipal, The Port area, the Aquarium AquaRio, Praça Quinze and Museu do Amanhã.
