The location is fantastic as well as the view of the ocean. Overall the apartment was good, fully stocked, nice kitchen wear, however it does need some updating especially the bathrooms. The tub in the main bedroom is very high off the floor and for someone under 5’4”, it can be challenging to get in and out of. Also, the vanity, sink and mirrors have seen better days. I would also suggest changing the carpet. That said, the management team was very responsive, the building seems well maintained and it is a lovely place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and the relaxing view overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. Perfect location, lots to do within easy walking distance. Many eating options very close by. We spent quite a few hours on the balcony just watching the ocean and the people on the boardwak. Sunsets on the balcony were amazing. Leaving the window open at night let us listen to the ocean waves. We've stayed in San Diego three times and this was our favorite by far.

We had a great stay! Condo was clean and inviting, beach accessories were plentiful, and patio was awesome to relax and watch the sunset. Location of the condo is right off the strand and is walkable to restaurants, pier, grocery store, and other activities and by far has to be the best spot in Pacific Beach! Hosts were friendly and provided prompt responses to my emails. We had everything we needed to have a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Can't wait to visit again!

My wife and I just spent a month at Jim's place on Pacific Beach. The location couldn't have been better. If you love the ocean and beach this is where you want to be. We used the deck off the living room every day. It was great for sunsets and people watching. The kitchen had everything you might need to cook, although, with all the restaurants nearby we didn't do a lot of cooking. Nancy O. was our Johnny on the spot and took great care of us and responded to all our needs.
