Great trail down to the beach. There is a rope swing and great views of San Francisco. A must see! There are hiking trails that take you right up next to the Golden Gate bridge too. Great way to spend the day.

If the weather is nice, drive across the Golden Gate Bridge to this secret beach. Hike about 1 mile down to the beach. Bring a picnic. You'll get a stunning view of the bridge, and you might have the beach to yourself on a weekday.

Kirby Cove is a little known beach on the other side of Golden Gate Bridge. Its a 30 min hike down to the bridge from the other side of the bridge but the views are well worth the effort.

This 3-mile hike is less common with tourists than the hikes that go to the vista point at the top of the cliff above the beach, but it is arguably better! The hike to the beach is downhill, and the return is a moderate uphill climb. Like most beaches in Northern California, the water isn't warm, but the view is spectacular!
