The territory of Brisighella and the surrounding area is characterized by two elements: the gullies, rock formations eroded by the wind over the centuries and by the "gypsum vein", formations of this material present throughout Italy but which has surfaced here in a very more evident. So unique as to be protected with the creation of the Vena del Gesso Regional Park. Luxuriant nature, animal species, caves to visit and streams make it a perfect place for a regenerating holiday. The center offers numerous services for the visitor: the information point of the Parco della Vena del Gesso Romagnola, the conference room, the "Stanza del Clima" teaching room and the naturalistic museum dedicated to the fauna of the Vena del Gesso, which houses finds of almost all the most interesting animal species of the park, including wolf, porcupine, eagle owl, peregrine falcon, blue rock thrush. Services offered: guesthouse, bar-restaurant, guided tours, classroom and museum.

Per gli escursionisti più esperti consigliamo questo trekking che attraversa i calanchi della vena del gesso. Si parte dalle bocche dei canali di faenza e si arriva al parco carnè a brisighella. Lunghezza circa 16 km. Gli instancabili possono tornare a piedi sulla stessa strada gli altri possono scendere alla stazione del paese e prendere un treno per tornare a faenza.
