Incredible historic place, just 10 minutes walk from mine. Unbelievably, you have the second best sushi restaurant in all of London here (Rockstar Sushi Bar) as well as Thai, Caribbean, Italian, German, British Pub food and a load of others. Also a lot of lovely little cafes, bars and a couple of pubs. Highly recommend in the Summer, when there’s a market and a brass band on the bandstand.

Former Mills where Liberty used to print their fabric that have been converted into quirky shops and restaurants and a river pub. Market every weekend and a music and comedy festival in the summer.

Merton's historic Watermill and ancient abbey site, is an eclectic mix of market and cafes/restaurants with a picturesque atmosphere you'll enjoy.

This is on the River Wandle. Look at the working water mill in the market place along with craft shops and cafes, pottery and crystals.
