Castell Dinas Brân is a medieval castle occupying a prominent hilltop site above the town of Llangollen in Denbighshire, Wales. It occupies a formidable position on the summit of a steep hill in the Vale of Llangollen. There is a 4.2 kilometer loop trail to Castell Dinas Bran that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels.

Beautiful 13th century castle built on the remains of an Iron Age Hillfort. Steeped in Welsh folklore and with amazing views to boot. Perfect for a hike and a picnic at the top!

Just 12 miles from Wernog Wood, this lovely walk up to this ancient Dinas Bran, with fabulous views towards Pontcysyllte aqueduct world heritage site

There is a path that takes you up to the top if you feel energetic..the views are well worth the effort..
