Thiết lập và quản lý khóa thông minh có kết nối của nhà/phòng cho thuê

You’ve connected your smart lock to Airbnb—fantastic! Now you can set it up to work best for you, your place, and your guests.

Choose when smart lock codes are active

Codes are active during a guest’s entire stay, and you can adjust your listing’s check-in or checkout time while setting up your connected smart lock.

You can also give individual guests early check-in or late checkout—find out how to adjust a guest’s reservation check-in and/or checkout time so that their code stays active during their entire stay.

Choose when smart lock codes expire after checkout

You can choose how long after checkout your guests’ codes expire. Guests are expected to check out on time, but to make sure they don’t get locked out while trying to get out the door, codes remain active a little past checkout. When you add a connected smart lock to your listing, the default setting is for guests’ codes to expire 30 minutes after checkout. You can adjust this so that guests’ codes stay active from 15 minutes to 2 hours past your listing’s checkout time. Don’t worry: This extra time will never be shown to your guests.

Find out how to adjust when codes expire after checkout.

Add a backup entry method

You'll add backup entry instructions (ex: Lockbox on the back door with a physical key inside, code is 1234) that will only be shared with your confirmed guests in the event of unexpected lock issues that prevent them from being able to access your place during their stay. You’ll always be notified if your backup entry method is shared with a guest, so you can change or manage your backup entry info, as needed.

Update your check-in instructions

You can add check-in instructions for your listing that will be shown to your guests 48 hours before check-in.

If your previous check-in method was a smart lock

Now that codes will be automatically generated and shared with your guests for new and confirmed bookings, make sure you remove any unwanted codes from your smart lock app. You should also update any outdated info in your checkout instructions (ex: how and when guests will receive their code). Update scheduled messages or quick replies to dynamically fill in door codes

When messaging on Airbnb, it’s simple to share your guest’s code without having to manually add it. You can just add the “entry code” shortcode to your scheduled messages or quick reply templates so that the guest’s smart lock code is dynamically filled in.

Your smart lock’s status

If your smart lock changes to a status that requires you to take action, you’ll be shown an alert on your Today tab. You can also find the status of your smart lock on your listing under Arrival guide > Check-in method at any time. Your smart lock’s status will also be shown in your guest’s reservation details for any current or upcoming reservations.

Learn more about the smart lock statuses you may encounter, what they mean for you and your guests, and how you’ll be notified if the status of your smart lock changes.

Connecting your smart lock to Airbnb is only available to certain Hosts with listings in the US or Canada. Find out more about which Hosts are eligible to connect a smart lock to Airbnb.
